Experienced Front Office Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Front Office Supervisor for Hotel Kilkenny.  The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager in leading the Front Office Team in a busy environment whilst consistently delivering exception customer care to our guests.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

•             To ensure all standards stated in the S.O.P manuals are adhered to paying particular attention to cash handling procedures.

•             To ensure all Hotel Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times.

•             To ensure a professional, friendly and efficient manner is portrayed at all times.

•             To effectively communicate Guest information, where appropriate, with  Management and other departments.

•             To liaise closely with other departments and especially accommodation operating a clear line of communication

•             To gain maximize room yields on a monthly basis.

•             To ensure a high standard of customer care is delivered at all times.

•             To ensure products and facilities to Guests to assist with up-selling of the Hotel.

•             To deal with any guest requests/queries in a polite and attentive manner, dealing with any complaints that may arise, contacting the Duty Manager if needed.

•             To allocate room changes in a professional manner noting complaints/comments and special requests from Guest history.

•             To ensure the Am and Pm shift duty, as per the checklist are completed correctly.

•             To ensure team spirit is high between all staff and contribute as a team member to enhance business and staff morale.

•             To maintain our groups and tour policies.

Requirements:

·         Front Office experience in a similar role in 4*/5* properties

·         Excellent command of the English language

·         Be self-motivated with an ability to work on own initiative

·         Knowledge of Hotsoft package is not essential but would be an advantage

·         Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail
